We offer art classes, craft workshops and an open studio space to let your creative self be free to explore different mediums. 
In addition to our regular workshops, we offer both private and group classes tailored to meet individual or group needs.
Our private classes provide a personalized experience, allowing participants to focus on specific skills or projects with one-on-one guidance.
Group classes foster collaboration and are ideal for friends, families, or organizations looking to explore creativity together in a supportive environment. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that plans can change. To receive a full refund, please notify us of any cancellations at least 48 hours in advance. If a class has fewer than three participants, we will either reschedule or provide a full refund. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.


Neurography Class

Explore the calming and meditative art of Neurography in this engaging class.

Beginning Art Junk Journal Making 

Join us for this fun course that will kickstart your journey into art junk journaling.  It’s a beginner-friendly class where we explore fun, easy techniques using lots of recycled and repurposed items! This is all about having fun and getting creative with what you’ve got. By the end, you’ll have your very own one-of-a-kind junk journal that reflects your personal style and creative flair. Let’s have some fun, experiment, and make something amazing together!

Planning Your Book
In this session, we’ll explore various options for your journal. Whether you’re excited to create a book from scratch or prefer to transform an existing one, we’ll walk you through the process step by step. If starting from the ground up feels like a big challenge, no worries, you’ll learn how to select and prepare a pre-made book that suits your style.

What Goes Into the Books?
We’ll take a deep dive into the world of ephemera—what it is, where to find it, and how to make your own. From vintage papers to found objects, I’ll introduce you to a variety of materials to help you craft a one-of-a-kind journal. You’ll soon see how everyday items can be recycled and repurposed, turning “trash” into treasure for your creative project.

Please bring your own basic tools and supplies listed below. This is just a starting point—the list is almost endless of fun materials you can use to make your treasured journal truly unique! Basic acrylic and watercolor paints will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite paints, inks, stencils, stamps, and other supplies to personalize your work. 

  • Paint brushes assorted; 1 inch flat brush 
  • Mod Podge or a PVA glue
  • Extra strength glue sticks (optional)
  • Fabri – Tac glue or Aleene’s clear gel glue
  • Pencils and pens
  • Apron and gloves if your inclined. 

Art Junk Journal Making

Are you ready to dive deeper into the world of art junk journals? This biweekly workshop is perfect for beginners and those looking to keep experimenting and having fun with creative techniques.
Each session is about exploring new, and exciting ways to transform recycled and repurposed items while using fun art supplies to make it into art!

Here are some examples of things you will learn in this class: 

  • How to prepare your book. 
  • Create painted paper master boards. 
  • Collage with old books and magazines 
  • Experiment with Gel Plate printing
  • Incorporate fabric scraps and recycled household items 
  • Add natural elements like leaves and flowers 
  • Sew on paper to bring an extra layer of texture and dimension

This next-level class allows you to experiment with all the fun possibilities in creating a junk journal. The great part about this medium is it is limitless, you can always add more volume, more techniques, more items, anything to your imagination; the complexity will only make it better! Using a variety of skills learned through these classes will provide you a lovely melting pot of pieces and pages that will bring your journal together.

* Materials fees range from $5 to $25, depending on what we’ll be working on in class. I’ll provide some supplies for you to try out, so you can get hands-on experience before deciding what to buy. The idea is to let you explore different techniques, and if you enjoy something, I’ll happily guide you on which products to add to your own art stash!


Monoprinting Magic: Create with a Gelli Plate!

Discover the magic of the gel plate! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of monoprinting and explore the endless possibilities that come with this fun and versatile technique. We’ll explore layering techniques, using found objects, stencils, and more to craft textured and eye-catching designs. Perfect for adding unique backgrounds and focal points to your art journal or any mixed media project.

What is a gel plate?
A gel plate is a soft, flexible surface that allows you to transfer beautiful and unique patterns onto paper using paints, stencils, and textures. It’s like having your own portable printmaking studio! Once you try it, you’ll see why it’s a must-have and a secret weapon in any mixed media artist’s toolkit.

Supplies to Bring:

  • Gel plate (any size, but 8”x10” is recommended)
  • Rubber brayer (4” recommended)
  • Optional but encouraged: Freshly cut leaves & flowers, stencils, or any found objects to create patterns on your gel plate

Supplies Provided:

  • Copy Paper
  • Craft Paint
  • Stencils

Don’t have a gel plate? No worries! You can try out one of the studio plates (availability depends on class size). I have three for sharing, offering the perfect opportunity to experiment before committing to your own.
